This is one of the vows Br Mark McKeon took when he joined the De La Salle Brothers, an order which ministers to poor youth.  Little did he know, a vocations interview in the local pub and his subsequent ‘yes’ to God would take him to PNG, Pakistan and even the Napa Valley in California.   Enjoy his wisdom on prayer, mission and discernment…

2. Lorena Portocarrero’s Story

“I was searching for something more… I remember thinking ‘there is something missing’.  I wanted to have a life I wouldn’t change for anything…”
Lorena is a member of the Marian Community of Reconciliation (also known as ‘Fraternas’).  She is a lay consecrated woman who is currently studying psychology at the University of New South Wales.

5. Scriptural Reflection with Dr Robert Tilley

This is week Dr Tilley reflects on the call and vocation of Isaac.

Dr Robert Tilley is a lecturer in biblical studies and ancient languages at the Catholic Institute of Sydney and in Christian literature at the Aquinas Academy.  Dr Tilley received his Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Theology  from the University of Sydney. He is a regular a columnist for Annals Magazine.

In 2004 Dr Tilley published “Benedict XVI and the Search for Truth” on the philosophy and theology of the Pope Benedict XVI.
