Homily for The Third Sunday of Advent, Gaudete Sunday, 2019
To be joyful is not to wear a permanent smile on your face. That is either madness or irritating.
In the midst of the penitentially joyful season of Advent, the church reminds us to exhibit an attractive joy which draws people into Christ.
