Hello I’m Archbishop Julian Porteous
One of the central images of Christmas is Mary, Joseph and the child Jesus in a humble stable.
The Holy Family at Bethlehem calls on us to recall the great gift of family and children.
Pope Francis said recently, “Let every family be a welcoming place of goodness and peace for children and the elderly; for the sick and the lonely; for the poor and the needy….”
I wish you and your family the joy and peace of Christmas.
