Catholics Read Mere Christianity: Part I

0

Between 1942-1944, Anglican novelist C.S. Lewis gave a series of talks on BBC radio on the theology and practice of Christianity. The written compilation of these talks would become one of the most influential books in 20th Century Evangelical Christianity. So why not let a couple of young Catholics see what all the fuss is about?

In this episode of Catholics Read: Luke, Kiara and Victoria dive in to the first book of C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity. The team explore the beginning of the Christian classic by discussing the background to the book, how our human behaviour brings us to the notion of God, and why Lewis’ criticism of the “march of progress” is relevant even to our own day.
