Homily for The 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C
Pride, the deadliest sin, and humility, it’s corresponding virtue, are the focus of this week’s readings. Father Michael expounds upon why we must foster the virtue of humility and flee from the vice of pride, drawing on the words of Our Lord in today’s gospel.
Fr Michael Doody is the parish priest of St Augustine of Canterbury parish in Harehills, Leeds and the Vocations Director for the Diocese of Leeds.
