Rev Campbell Markham provides 10 lessons on the Christian meaning of suffering from the thought of 19th Century French Protestant pastor Adolphe Monod. Rev Markham derives these lessons from Monod’s final sermons delivered from his deathbed as his died from liver cancer. Finally, Rev Markham explains the need for Christianity to address the problem of suffering in a modern world which fails to understand it.
