3 Great Talks on Forgiveness

0

If you’re human (and that’s all of you!) forgiveness is something you’re likely to have struggled with at some point in your life. Sometimes we think we’ve forgiven, but then something happens and all those past hurts just come right back up again.

We also know forgiveness is really important – the Lord told us the mercy we show is the mercy we’ll be shown. But don’t despair! These are some of the talks that really helped us, and we think, in conjunction with the grace of the sacraments, they’ll help you too.

“>1. Forgiveness Works

Psychologist Tony Pirotta shares his own experience to help us understand our need to forgive and be forgiven.

2. Forgiving with the Heart of Mary

This is an episode of Our Queen, Our Mother where Paul helps us to understand forgiveness as an act of the will rather than a feeling. He shows us how Mary can teach us and walk with us on the road to healing and forgiveness.

3. The Process of Forgiveness

Here Tony Pirotta takes us through the 9 steps of forgiveness developed by Stanford Forgiveness Project Director Fred Luskin.
