Do Doctors Have the Right to Object?

At the heart of much medical legislation today is a desire to restrict conscientious objection rights in favour of greater patient freedom. But is this such a good thing?

We spoke to Plunkett Centre for Ethics Director Dr Bernadette Tobin to find out about an alternative way to think about conscientious objection: does it exist as a right for government to protect, and there be  limits to that right?
