“This was sort of like a fire that was lit within me… I carried in my heart a sense that ‘this is what the faith is really about’ and this was something which for me opened my eyes to see the beauty of scriptures, the sacramental life, of prayer… and this is something I wanted to assist others to discover”.
We have asked our founder Archbishop Julian Porteous many questions here at Cradio, but one thing we have never asked is how he became who he is. Did you know, for instance, that he first received his calling to the priesthood before he even started high school? But, believe it or not, he didn’t always have the zeal that’s evident to so many of us today.
In this interview, Archbishop Julian shares where his love for the faith and for sharing it with others comes from. He also tells us about his most recent book, the distillation of some 40 years experience in the work of evangelisation.
