Digital media offers new and exciting frontiers of communication. But should the Church go charging in without any forethought? Should the Church rather shy away from the daunting aspects of digital media?

David Mullin of the Archdiocese of Wellington explains how the Church ought to approach digital media, providing a framework for the Church seeking a digital strategy while relating to his own experiences in the area. David provides statistics and research by the New Zealand Catholic Enquiry Centre as a platform to explore the best way forward for the Church and Catholic organisations.

Catholic Digital Media Conference (CDMC) was held for the first time in Sydney in 2014. It followed on from the CNMC Melbourne, taking on a new name.  It was organised under the umbrella of the Southern Cross New Media Network in a collaboration between Cradio and Icon Media.
