Narrative of Temple and Trinity

0

This third in Dr Tilley’s series is entitled “The Gospels; the Narrative of Temple and Trinity”. In this final talk Dr Tilley brings together the Torah ad the Prophets to the New Testament, especially the Gospel of John. Dr Tilley walks through the Gospel of John to show that not only does Scripture mirror the Temple, but both of these mirror the nature of God Himself.

This series – The Beauty and Inspiration of the Bible – serves as an introduction to the contemporary trends in Biblical studies; including a rediscovery of what the ancients had always known of the Scriptures, an understanding of the Bible’s beautiful architecture in relation to the Temple, and how the Bible is written to prompt a deep reading of the text.
