Conversations with CVSome people might be surprised to hear that the Catholic Church upholds a person’s freedom of conscience, and in fact teaches that a person is bound to follow their conscience. How does this work with Church’s teaching, especially in regard to moral absolutes? Is there still a place for freedom of conscience in an increasing relativist society?
