Catholics Read Brave New World

1

Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World has become one of the most influential works of the dystopian genre. The work establishes a social and philosophical critique which is perhaps as relevant to the twenty-first century as it was to the twentieth.

Luke, Kiara and Victoria explore Brave New World to discuss the removal of humanity in pursuit of a misguided perfection, and whether our society is becoming desensitised to the negative and shocking aspects of the “brave new world”.

Content advisory: This episode discusses abortion and artificial reproductive technology, and briefly mentions substance addiction and pornography.
