In Pursuit of The Divine: the story of Dr Robert Tilley

2

“… many cradle Catholics don’t realise just how incredibly precious that visible unity (of the Church) is… and the reason why that unity is there, as I’ve come to realise more and more, is by reason of the real presence of Our Lord in the Mass, and by reason of the communion of the saints, of Our Lady’s care…”

Leading Australian Scripture scholar and lecturer Dr Robert Tilley shares an overview of how he came to the Catholic faith: a life-long journey searching, stumbling, and experiencing the great providence of God.

  1. It was interesting listening to how you became a Catholic. I have been praying for you since I attended some of your lectures a few years ago. You are fascinating and informative to listen to. I ‘joined’ the catholic church over 45 years ago, but have never really believed in several of its doctrines. I have not called myself a catholic for several years now. I will continue to keep you in my prayers, and may God guide you and bless you with true wisdom and understanding, of God’s wonderful promise, in Jesus our Savior. Yvonne, Berowra Heights

  2. Its good to know that more catholics are getting more involved in church activities. I always get inspired by people who devotes their time to serve the church and helping people. Hope to see you more being used by the Lord.
