World Youth Day 2013 has now drawn to a close with an estimated 3 million young people gathering on Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro for the final Mass with Pope Francis.
Preaching on the theme of this World Youth Day “go and make disciples of all people”, Pope Francis challenged the youth to proclaim the Gospel beyond their own parishes, communities and movements without fear.
The Holy Father also announced that the next World Youth Day is to be held in Krakow, Poland in 2016!
