Vital Faith Communities: Optimal context for the kerygma

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42, ESV)

We may hear and know what being a Christian is all about – but how can it truly permeate our hearts? Fr Chris Ryan MGL speaks on the role of “vital faith communities” in evangelisation, and how these communities provide the good soil for Christians in our world today.

The 5th CREDO Colloquium, entitled The Power of the Message: The Kerygma for the New Evangelisation, was organised by Sydney’s Catholic Renewal and Evangelisation Diocesan Office (CREDO), and held at the Catholic Centre in Lidcombe.
