In February 2015, the Canadian Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the country’s existing ban of euthanasia was unconstitutional – adding to the call for the legalisation of the practice in Western countries.
In this talk, professor of medicine and law Margaret Somerville provides an analysis and rebuttal of eight arguments for euthanasia found commonly in discussion on the topic.
