G.K. Chesterton was an early 20th Century journalist, poet, and writer on a multitude of topics – influencing C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and Dorothy Day, to name just a few. However, is the relatively obscure “Apostle of Common Sense” still relevant in our own society today?
We spoke to Dale Ahlquist of the American Chesterton Society to find out what G.K. Chesterton brings to the 21st Century, how we can look to him in facing contemporary problems, and the great example he sets for lay Catholics in a secular world.
