The Power of ‘Yes’

More than 80 young people aged 15-35 have kicked off 2013 with two weeks of prayer and formation at Immaculata Mission School at St Thomas Becket Parish, Lewisham. The event, which is hosted by the Sisters of the Immaculata along with lay members of the Immaculata Community, is now in it’s 6th year and features talks on various aspects of the faith by speakers from Australia and abroad.

We caught up with Mother Mary Therese to hear the inspiring story of how the lay community, Sisters and Mission School came to be. We also spoke to some of the youth to find out about their experiences of the School.

Immaculata Mission School 2013 was held from 1-14 January and featured a range of speakers including Professor Drake McCalister from Franciscan University of Steubenville. If you missed out this year, don’t fret; you’ll be able to catch up on all the talks here on Cradio soon.
