St Richard Reynolds

St Richard Reynolds is known as an English Brigittine monk who was executed for refusing to acknowledge King Henry VIII as head of the church. Richard was born in Devon, England in 1492 and was educated at the University of Cambridge. He died in 1535 and was canonised by Pope Paul VI in 1970, among the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales.
