Blessed Antony of Pavoni was born in Savigliano, Italy in 1326. He is well known for being a Dominican monk and priest who was pious and very intelligent. Antony was appointed inquisitor-general to fight against heresies. He was martyred for preaching against the heretics in 1374 in Bricherasio, Italy and was beatified in 1856 by Pope Pius IX. He is the patron saint of lost articles.
