Blessed Daniel Brottier was Born on the 7 September 1876 at La Ferté-Saint-Cyr, France.He was a French priest in the Congregation of the Holy Ghost. Daniel was a chaplain during World War I as well as doing missionary work in Senegal and administered an orphanage in Auteuil, a suburb of Paris. He is well-known for being a man who put the family of God above considerations of nationality or race. Daniel died in Paris, France in 1936 and was beatified by St John Paul II in 1983.
