  1. Very interesting interviews. I would like to suggest that the Catholic response to homsexuality is both simple and complex. Although the law of Charity is paramount, real charity cannot be practised unless all the other virtues are brought into play. The concern Catholics have at present is that children can be corrupted, can be damaged in their development by “well-meaning” but imprudent actions. There is a real possibility that a homosexual will seduce a minor. There is also a real possibility that an environment can make it difficult to overcome habits and make virtues difficult to live. All this needs to be understood. Perhaps the idea that Catholics should not”judge” is simplistic . In the case of homsexuality, parents and other responsible adult need to be on guard. Children are vunerable.
