The Eucharist: Understanding What Happens at Mass

0

A March 2008 Lumen Verum Apologetics lecture by Glen Bolas on the topic: “The Eucharist”.

As Catholics we believe that something out of this world happens every time we go to Mass. We believe that the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ; the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ. Glen Bolas speaks on how we know this is so.  He explores the Eucharist as sacrifice – the historical and transcendent nature of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross. He also addresses disputes about the Real Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament to help us appreciate the amazing reality of what is happening each time we go to Mass.
